No to aggression against Iran!
Last night, the Zionist entity launched a comprehensive attack on Iran. The attack hit military leaders, nuclear scientists, nuclear and military facilities, and residential areas. The leaders of the Zionist state announced that this is only “the beginning,” that is, the beginning of a war. It goes without saying that the aggression could not have taken place without the green light and active support of the United States – something the criminal in the White House confirmed by declaring that the attacks will continue and become even bloodier if the Iranian regime does not bow to their demands. The pretext of Iranian nuclear weapons is no different from the claim of “weapons of mass destruction” that was used to overthrow Saddam Hussein’s regime, occupy Iraq, and appropriate its land and wealth.
All of this is part of a larger, American-Western, imperialist project. The intention is to reshape the entire Middle East so that the United States can gain full control over the region’s natural resources, markets, and strategically important hubs — while keeping other major powers like Russia and China in check. At the same time, the project ensures that the Zionist state is kept in a clear military leadership position, so that it can act as the spearhead and enforce the new order. Finally, the project opens the door for the region’s client regimes to normalize their relations with Israel: The authoritarian governments in the neighboring countries are ready to do whatever Washington demands to ensure their own survival as soon as the pressure from the resistance forces and the anti-American-Zionist governments subsides.
The Zionist attack on Iran shows once again that American imperialism – today led by a fascist criminal – and its favorite and outpost, the Zionist state, led by a handful of neo-Nazis, are wreaking havoc without responsibility, trampling on the sovereignty of states and the most basic norms of international law, enforcing their will by force of arms, and driving the region towards a war whose consequences no one can foresee for the peoples of the region and for the people of the entire world.
This criminal, terrorizing unbridledness enjoys the full support of the Western imperialist powers, who slavishly follow the American monster and defend the Zionist regime, which they themselves helped create and keep running, while at the same time receiving shameful support from the Arab and Islamic puppet regimes.
The Tunisian Workers' Party condemns the attack on Iran and sees it first and foremost as an attack on the Iranian people - an attempt to subjugate them and appropriate their vast wealth. The Tunisian Workers' Party also sees it as a threat to the populations of the region, who - if the Iranian nuclear facilities are bombed - risk deadly radioactive contamination for a long time. Ultimately, the aggression threatens all the peoples of the world because it could spread the war, which could develop into a global catastrophe at any time, especially since the actors - like Trump and Netanyahu - are Nazis, enemies of peace and life.
Therefore, the Tunisian Workers' Party calls on all workers and peoples of the world, first and foremost the people of the region and the Tunisian people, to immediately oppose this criminal, terrorizing aggression in order to have it stopped immediately.
The Tunisian Workers' Party also calls for increasing pressure to stop the genocide in Gaza and the abuses against the entire Palestinian people, to put an end to the repeated attacks on Lebanon, Yemen and Syria, and to respect the right of peoples - including the Iranian one - to self-determination, a right that no one can dispute, least of all colonial and tyrannical powers. Finally, it is imperative, in the interest of humanity, to put an end to the criminal in the White House who is wreaking havoc at home and abroad, as well as the bloodthirsty criminal who leads the Zionist regime and his henchmen - and to bring them to justice.
