Ideological Warfare tactics of capitalists against socialism through concepts and theories

OVERALL CONCLUSION

The Thesis — Ideological Warfare

The struggle for socialism is made up of three inseparable fundamental arenas: ideological, political, and economic. However, both the political (acquiring power) and economic (construction of socialism) arenas remain tied to ideological struggle internally and to ideological warfare externally. The question is not only carrying out a revolution but protecting and sustaining that political power. Because, especially in our technological era, external ideological warfare heavily influences the internal ideological struggle”.

Always keeping Lenin's warning about the application of ready-made conclusions acquired without understanding the facts — which one must examine critically rather than absorbing the bourgeois and revisionist narratives — 'superficiality that is decidedly fatal' is a necessity for the socialist struggle in any particular and in general. Looking at history and the current condition of leftist movements, we can see without any doubt that this warning of Lenin has proven prophetic. The bourgeoisie does not attack socialism only with police and prisons in particular and with its military and plots. That is superficiality, disregarding the inseparable structure of the overall struggle. The bourgeoisie, first and foremost, attacks socialist ideology and socialists to create confusion in theories and concepts, and cultivates habits and laziness in the ranks who choose “labeling” rather than bringing counterarguments and searching for the truth through discussions. All of which brings about a division among the left -  divide and conquer, the oldest tactic in human history. We have to acknowledge the fact that the transition from ideological struggle to ideological warfare marked a qualitative change: the conflict became total, global, and state-sponsored. We are not only reading and “discussing” the Marxist-Leninist subjects among ourselves, but with those who are the agents of capitalists masked as “the authority of Marxist-Leninist” theories.

They fabricated so many weapons, fundamentally: the confusion between socialism and communism, the distortion of the national question, the slander of "cult of personality," the weaponization of "bureaucracy," the "failure" narrative, the ultra-left's sectarianism, boycott, refusal to compromise, rejection of democratic struggle, anti-parliamentarism, and confusion of reform with reformism.

The function of these confusions is consistent and serves their interests in dividing the socialist movement, discrediting anti-imperialist struggles, and disarming the working class – in most cases with ultra-leftist slogans in practical reality, which promotes “passivity” falling way behind the reformists.

The Antithesis — Scientific Clarification

Against this arsenal, we have set the scientific clarification:

  • Socialism vs. communism: The first phase vs. the higher phase. The state exists in socialism; it withers in communism. The confusion is deliberate — it serves to declare socialism a "failure."
  • Socialism in one country: A Leninist theory, not a Stalinist invention. Lenin articulated it in 1915. The lie that it was Stalin's "betrayal" is a weapon to attack Lenin through Stalin.
  • The state: The critical criterion. Where the state exists, we are in socialism. Where it withers, we are in communism. Those who apply communist criteria to socialist reality have failed to understand the dialectic.
  • The national question: The RIGHT to self-determination is absolute. The DEMAND is conditional — it must be assessed based on the interests of the working class. The sophists who cry for Ukraine's "self-determination" while denying it to Donbas are siding with the reactionary bourgeoisie.
  • The weapons from within: Sectarianism labels every mistake as betrayal. Boycott refuses participation when participation is necessary. Compromise is rejected even when it is forced by circumstances. Democratic struggle is abandoned even when it is the only path to the masses. Parliament is rejected even when it is the only platform. Reform is confused with reformism, and the fight for reforms is abandoned — leaving the masses to the reformists.

The Synthesis — The Method and the Task

The synthesis is twofold:

The method: Marxist norms of criticism. Criticism of fellow communists must be objective, constructive, and comradely — not public, not pontificating, not from a distance. As Lenin said: "There is one, and only one, kind of real internationalism, and that is — working wholeheartedly for the development of the revolutionary movement and the revolutionary struggle in one's own country."

The task: Revolutionary democracy. The path to socialism is not a single leap. It goes through phases: insurrection → revolutionary democracy → insurrection → socialist revolution. The form of the revolution is not decisive — the class essence is. As Lenin said: "The proletariat cannot be victorious except through democracy, i.e., by giving full effect to democracy and by linking with each step of its struggle democratic demands formulated in the most resolute terms."

The task is revolutionary democracy — the bridge to socialism. Without this bridge, the revolution remains an abstract slogan. With it, the path becomes concrete.

Part Four: The Call to Action

The bourgeoisie has made confusion a weapon. We must make clarity a weapon.

We call on all Marxists-Leninists to:

  1. Study the scientific distinction between socialism and communism
  2. Teach it to the masses
  3. Defend socialist states against ideological attack
  4. Expose the confusion for what it is: a weapon of ideological warfare
  5. Build the revolutionary movement — through the method of Marxist criticism and the task of revolutionary democracy
  6. Build the revolutionary movement — through the method of Marxist criticism and the task of revolutionary democracy — in every country, without waiting for world revolution.

The victory of socialism globally requires not only the defeat of capitalist economics but the defeat of capitalist ideology.

That defeat begins — by ruthlessly exposing the confusion for what it is: a weapon.

We are not doctrinaires. Our theory is a guide to action, not a dogma.

The action demanded now is to take this scientific clarity and wield it directly against the ideological warfare of imperialism.

Only clarity can defeat confusion.
Only science can defeat ideology.
Only socialism can liberate humanity.
