On the review of cases of persons convicted of evading military service on religious grounds.
1) To oblige the People's Courts (by a special Session under the Provincial Council of People's Judges) to revise in the manner prescribed by the decree of the Council of People's Commissars dated March 21, 1921 on the early release of prisoners ( Collection Uzak. 1921, No. 22, Art. 138 ), all, without exception, cases of persons convicted by the judiciary, Commissions for Combating Desertion and Extraordinary Commissions for evasion of military service and desertion on religious grounds.
2) Cases of those serving sentences of imprisonment are sent within a week by the Provincial Distribution Commissions to the respective Special Sessions.
3) In the cases of the above persons, the Special Session verifies the evidence provided for by the Resolution of the Council of People's Commissars dated December 14, 1920 "On exemption from military service for religious convictions" ( Collection of Uzak. 1920, No. 99, Art. 527 ), and proving the sincerity of their convictions or completely exempts them from military service if the years of their draft are demobilized, or replaces their imprisonment with jobs provided for by the same Resolution of the Council of People's Commissars, as well as agricultural or other work in their specialty, if their peers are in the Red Army.
4) The People's Commissariat of Justice shall be responsible for overseeing the implementation of this measure.
