The questions of Myanmar".

In reference to the questions of "what is your thought on Myanmar".

Unfortunately, at the moment I do not have the required information in order to make an objective comment on Myanmar. I would hesitate to make a statement without having the required information and based solely on the general principles of theories. However, it is important to note that I am neither a narrow minded to label it "reactionary" just because it is a military coup, nor am I naive to call every protest "progressive" just because it appears to be against the system. They could easily be the opposite of what we assume they are.

We must base our analysis to the concrete facts, consider these not only in Myanmar particular but in connection with the world conflict in general. Our assessments, without exception must derive from the interests of laboring and peasant masses and their struggle, both "in particular" and "in general". That is to say that; it should be assessed in Myanmar particular, the interest of democratic struggle, and from the point of view of the general balance sheet of the democratic struggle against imperialism, in world general.

In the case that the developments show that the interest of the "Myanmar particular" somehow is running counter to the demands of formal democracy, if (that is a big "if") this is in the direction of becoming a big blow at aggressive imperialism, we should keep in mind that the interests of "particular" is subordinated to the interests of "general."

İn simple words, we should not only be looking at, and making assessment of a "tree" based on the interests of the "tree", but in connection with that of "forest". If the interest of a tree contradicts the interest of forest, then our choice in the assessment is obvious.

For such an assessment, one needs the factual information, research, thorough knowledge of economic and political history of that particular and of her international relations, Plus the factual knowledge of interests of imperialist countries in that specific. None of these research - other than the statistical data perhaps- can be made objectively based on the data from bourgeois sources.

Nothing is what it appears to be, and definitely not what the bourgeois media, "scholars", "experts" and writers want you to believe to be. However, unfortunately they have the long historical experience and vaster means to influence the "views" on a current issue and thus they are capable of mobilizing people, even the leftists, in accord with their own aims.

This is an important subject that is on the agenda, yet it is a subject that cannot, and should not be assessed from a far without the required data.

Only a sophist who claim to have known everything would dare to make an assessment without the required information and research, relying only to the general principles of Marxist-Leninist theories and on bourgeois sources. The best possible sources for the question would be the Marxist Leninists of the given country and of neighboring countries such as India, Bangladesh etc.

I would respect and consider their data and assessments on the subject if any detailed one, other than a simplistic one that just states, "it is a conflict between China and US".

I do not even have the information on what percentage of the population speaks and reads English, while I see English written posters in almost all protests. Although it is a typical indication of being led, and possible existence of Serbia "trained provocateurs", and posters of Suu Kyi dominating the protests, I would not jump to a conclusion.

As far as "Nobel Prize winner Suu Kyi is concerned, we should keep in mind what RAWA said once; "A number of precedents have proved that the Nobel Peace Prize is not awarded on merit. It is conferred upon the lackeys of the West."
