What is going on In Nepal?

What is going on In Nepal? How to approach to the question from far away?
What differs Marxist Leninists from others is that they are not subjective but objective. Unlike the "slave minded people", Marxist Leninists have "critical mind". Their approach to a political question in any given country requires some basic knowledge of the political structure of that given country in particular and in direct dialectical connection with whatever is going on in the world in general. Critical objective thinking is essential not to fall into the trap of the declining fascist imperialist powers.
In a country where a nationalist or fascist party at the power, the opposition is commonly made up of social democrats and socialists. In a country where the coalition of "communist parties" are at the power , regardless of if we consider them as "communist" or not, since they represent communist ideology, the opposition inevitably will be made up of anti-communists. In Nepal, the government is led by the Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Marxist Leninist) in coalition with social democrat (nationalist) Nepali Congress Party. That by itself complicates the issue and any developments within the country. Hindu Nationalism by reactionary RPP adds more complication and external interference" in internal politics. The Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist Centre) that led a decade-long insurgency against the monarchy is the third largest political party in the country.
If we combine the internal conflicts with the regional conflicts, we have to come to the conclusion that not everything can be as it appears to be. During the previous demonstrations we have seen blond blue eye guys screaming their lungs out live on videos.
We cannot assume that "every man with the beard is our grandfather." Although the demonstrations may have just and democratic reasons, we should never forget the historical lessons that every demonstration can be co-opted by internal-external powers and change its direction fitting their own interests and goals.
Based on the limited knowledge I have and information I have received from Nepali comrades, I prioritize the objective fact that the demonstrations are lead by anti-communists and nationalists. We have to wait and see if there are any communist parties involved in these demonstrations. Or whether the protestors are made up of only nationalists of varying kind and "white" provocateurs.

On Nepal in particular and in general
Monarchists, Fascists, gangs, looters destroyed the city of Kathmandu, the Communist youth are still busy cleaning the city literally with their hands. Looking at most of the "protestors" , it looks like there were more "hired gangs" and curious children than the "students" participated in the so called "protests."
Does this look like an "uprising" or a case of planning and co-opting of the student protest and redirecting it to create chaos and instability in the country?
Corruption is not the problem of this year, meaning that it did not started on March 2024 when the all-communist-socialist alliance has been formed and took over the government. Corruption has been going on since the time of Monarchy. Some so called Gen-Z leaders blatantly proposing to the military to consult the businessman who spends millions to bring back the Monarchy for the selection of new Prime Minister.
Nepali people unset the Monarchy through guerilla war and insurgency under the leadership of The Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist Centre) and with other communist groups. It is the third largest party in Nepal. CP of Nepal (Unified Marxist Leninist) makes up the second largest party in the country. Together , they have a strong base among the Nepali masses. Although the Monarchists, Hindu Nationalist and fascist parties have minimal base, they -as we always expect- get support from the "social democrat" National Congress Party. Considering that, and the active presence of US-NED-NGOs in the country, there is a possibility that they may succeed in defeating the newly formed communist government, yet it is very unlikely if we consider the fighting history of the communists in Nepal.
The events in Nepal cannot and should not be taken as an isolated event in the region. It is a part of the policy and practice of declining US bellicose imperialism in this region, like they do in Caucuses, Balkans and South East Asia; like Myanmar, Thailand, Cambodia, Indonesia examples.
Nepal is facing a danger of the reinstatement of the royalty at worse or taking backwards steps by assigning the king-wing and fierce right-wing forces in power with the help of Nepal Army at best .
Will they succeed? I seriously doubt that will be successful, but the people of the regions will suffer unless they wake up and take the necessary precautions against the US-NED-NGOs and their provocateurs formed both as Media outlets and paid, salaried foot soldiers.
As it has been carried out in some countries, the transparency laws for all the NGOs and their Media outlets should be enacted. US considers those media and other establishments and their workers as "foreign agents", yet they defend, finance and support all the NGOs in other countries. If classifying them as "foreign agents" is justified and good for the US, it should be justified and good for the other countries too.
Most of those NED-NGOs are fronts for CIA-MI6 activities in these countries. With the financial power and local pseudo "free media outlets", and connections they have, they can organize or co-opt any protests fitting the interests of the US policies.
Enacting transparency laws, cleaning up the "foreign agents" as US calls for themselves, is a primary importance for any small country.

Who was behind the Gen-Z protests?
America loves implanting comedians, actors, singers as puppet leaders.
While the liberal "left" embraces the protests in Nepal, labels it as "people uprising", "revolution", as for Leninists, they always keep in mind and remember Lenin's warning that "the character of the leadership determines if a movement is progressive or not".
The information about the leaders of the protests are slowly but surely coming out to surface.
One of the main leading role is said to be Balendra Shah. Balendra Shah, known professionally as Balen, is a Nepalese politician and a rapper who is currently serving as the 15th mayor of Kathmandu since 2022. He is the first independent candidate to be elected as the mayor of Kathmandu. The Kathmandu Municipal Government, led by Shah, had faced criticism from organizations like Human Rights Watch due to allegations of employing disproportionate use of force against street vendors. Shah is a hard-core nationalist who supports the Greater Nepal theory that claims states of Northeast India should be "returned" to Nepal. (Interesting and coincidental choice of him as a leading personality considering the current India-US politics) Balen Shah's name is among the top 100 people of 2023 listed in Time magazine.
The other significant one is Sudan Gurung, the president of the NGO, non-governmental organization Hami Nepal.
Sudan Gurung's NGO named 'Hami Nepal' a non-governmental organization (NGO), receives financing from U.S., mostly through Christian missionaries. Hami Nepal-Sudan Gurung proves the existence of a broader connection between the U.S. and this NGO through various forms of funding, including U.S. government assistance. It is recorded that the U.S. government, through agencies like USAID,NED and NGOs has provided to this NGO substantial financial and logistical support.
Hami Nepal listed the following entities as financial supporters (I am only listing the major ones)
Coca Cola
Coca Cola bottlers
UK- Gurkha Welfare
(An interesting one) Rakuten Viber for secure messaging
Aljazeera
Barbara Foundation
Chambers Ireland
Chaudhary Group
USA- Student for free Tibet
(quite a large number of major hotels, online shopping conglomerates, trademark products)
According to multiple reports, Deepak Bhatta who is an arms dealer associated with the company Infinity Holdings and with an NGO that also has US connections, played an important role in the protests.
As in most countries, the U.S. Embassy in Nepal is the "leading" center for any opposition to governments who are not a proxy of US. The NGOs in the country usually is under the command of a "handler" from the embassy.
The first day of the events, after talking to the ML comrades from Nepal, I had posted a warning not to rush subjectively about the character of this Gen-Z protests. We always rely on concrete analyses of concrete conditions in a country in total dialectical connection with the conditions of the world. Most commentators did not even know that the government in Nepal is a communist alliance government formed only last year, yet they jumped in to the conclusion that the "protests are progressive". This by itself is an oxymoron.
It is always a choice to be "one of the member of the herd" or outside of the herd by telling the truth disregarding the "subjective" opposing comments. We, the students of Marxism Leninism, always reject liberalism and opportunism and prefer to be outside of the herd.
