The counter-revolution is approaching Petrograd. The traitor of the revolution, the enemy of the people of Kornilov, leads to Petrograd troops deceived by him. The entire bourgeoisie, led by the Cadet Party, which has constantly slandered workers and soldiers, now welcomes the traitor and traitor and is ready to applaud with all his heart the way Kornilov will heat the streets of Petrograd with the blood of workers and revolutionary soldiers, how he will crush the hands of dark, deceived people proletarian, peasant and soldier revolution.

To make it easier for Kornilov to shoot the proletariat, the bourgeoisie imagined that the rebellion of the workers had triumphed in Peter. Now you see that the mutiny was not raised by the workers, but by the bourgeoisie and the generals, headed by Kornilov. The triumph of Kornilov was the death of the will, the loss of land, the triumph and absolute power of the landlord over the peasant, the capitalist over the worker, and the general over the soldier.

The Provisional Government disintegrated at the first movement of the Kornilov counterrevolution. The ego government, to which a part of democracy has repeatedly expressed its confidence, to which it has handed over the fullness of power, this government was unable to fulfill its first and direct task: to crush the general-bourgeois counterrevolution. The search for an agreement with the bourgeoisie weakened democracy, fueled the appetites of the bourgeoisie; gave her the courage to decide on an open uprising against the revolution, against the people.

The salvation of the people, the salvation of the revolution is in the revolutionary energy of the proletarian and soldier masses themselves. Only we can trust our forces, our discipline, our organization. We trust the leadership of a resolute struggle for the salvation of the entire revolution, its gains and its future that power, which unconditionally, selflessly, completely assumes the fulfillment of the demands of the proletarian and soldier-peasant masses. Only this power will save the revolution, save from the offensive of the counter-revolution, will save it, despite the hesitations, vacillation, spinelessness of the vacillating part of democracy.

The population of Petrograd! We call you to the most determined struggle against the counter-revolution! All of revolutionary Russia is behind Petrograd!

Soldiers! In the name of the revolution - forward against General Kornilov!

Workers! In friendly ranks, protect the city of revolution from the attack of the bourgeois counter-revolution!

Soldiers and workers! In a fraternal alliance, welded together in the blood of the February days, show Kornilov that it is not the Kornilovs that will crush the revolution, but the revolution will break and smash the attempts of the bourgeois counterrevolution from the ground.

In the name of the interests of the revolution, in the name of the power of the proletariat and the peasantry in a liberated Russia and the whole world, a united family, rallied together, hand in hand, all, as one man, meet the enemy of the people, the traitor of the revolution, the murderer of freedom!

You were able to overthrow tsarism-prove that you will not tolerate the rule of the proprietor of the landowners and the bourgeoisie of Kornilov.
